IP Tactics is designed as a one-stop shop for companies, research institutions and individuals looking for a cost effective and efficient way to monetize their IP assets. IP Tactics partners with these "customers" or "clients" (as well as their law firms) to provide a bridge to IP driven revenue and a more successful, monetization strategy.
Among other things IP Tactics will:
- Acquire your intellectual property assets in whole or in part;
- Review and analyze patent rights; identify the applicable industries and/or markets for the patent rights;
- Review and analyze patent portfolios, including the generation of detailed reports describing the patents, fields of interest, inventors and licensing targets for large or small portfolios;
- Contact prospective licensees; put prospective licensees on notice and negotiate licenses;create licensing programs;
- Analyze the state of the prior art for selected patents;
- Direct and manage licensing programs and litigation;
- Capitalize the operation of the assignee, pay enforcement expenses, or otherwise assist a partner company with finance issues;
- Negotiate and manage agreements with vendors, including outside counsel.

- Valuation and assessment of individual assets and portfolios offered for sale by or to clients;
- Claims charts and infringement reports;
- Analyze prosecution histories; identify companies that have, will, or should utilize the technology and any infringers;
- Establish recovery goals for enforcement actions;
- Assist with drafting and filing of continuation, continuation-in-part, divisional and related patent applications;
- Oversee drafting and filing reissue or reexamination applications to correct defects;
- Respond to defensive and economic arguments of potential licensees;
- Supervise and coordinate activities of outside counsel and experts;
- Attend hearings, trials, and other court-ordered events;
- Evaluate settlement, licensing and sale proposals;
